PARACHUTE 07 IS OVER! Festival is over for another year. Parachute 07, the biggest festival in its 16 year history with more than 27,500 punters enjoying 100 bands on 7 stages over four days. Joyce was “choice”, as was the weather until late Sunday night, when the heavens opened. Torrential rain, thunder, lightening, and a resilient Dave Dobyyn, playing for the faithful crowd as he drew the festival to a close with the song that won him songwriter of the year at the 2005 NZ Music Awards - Welcome Home.
